Lauren Wood- Feature hunt

Journalism sophomore Andrew Marlan practices twirling batons at the tennis courts on Thursday afternoon. Marlan, who twirled in high school, is currently a member of the MSU Marching Band. Marlan plays the trombone, but is friends with the twirlers and practices with them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He practices in his free time for fun, and to "keep up with the twirlers." Marlan started twirling for fun when he was 7 years old.
