Soundslide Tips


Soundslides

A simple way to add interactivity to your story
Prepare your files before you open Soundslides. You must have your images saved as JPG files and your audio saved as MP3 files.
  • Make a project folder. Put all the jpg file in an “images” folder. Put all the mp3 files in an “audio” folder.
  • Open Soundslides and start a new project.
  • Save to the project folder where your image and audio files are stored.
  • Click on the “JPG” button to bring in the images.
  • Click onb the “SND” button to bring in the audio.
  • Make adjustments using the project interface:
  • Adjust the time line at the bottom of the page to set the timing.
  • Rearrange images by clicking and dragging in the slide window.
  • Add caption in the slide info window.
  • Customize the look in the template window.
  • Add credits and headlines in the project info window.
  • Re-import audio if necessary in the audio window.
  • Use the project interface to play, save, test and export your slideshow.
  • Export will create the files necessary to play the project on the web.
  • The files will be in a folder called “publish_to_web”.
  • This entire folder must be on the web server.
  • Link to “index.html”.
