The Conor O'Neills annual Shamrocks and Shenanigans 5k road race, was held in Ann Arbor on Sunday, March 13.  The race is held in anticipation of Saint Patrick's Day, the weekend before.  This year's fundraiser proceeds went to benefit to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, in Ann Arbor.

In traditional of the St. Patrick's Day, the event feature a professional bagpiper dressed in tradiditonal Irish garb.

Event participants were encouraged to dress up in their best celebratory St. Patrick's day gear.  From seasoned runner's to weekend warrior, green was the dominant color theme, Sunday.

Sprinting to the finish, Sunday's 5k participants dressed warm for the chilly morning race.  After exertion ending with exhaustion, race participants, of legal age were encouraged to quench their thirst with frosty glasses of Irish Stout.

A frosty brewed Stout is reward enough for a runners who completed the Shamrocks and Shenanigans 5k, Sunday.
